Francisco and Jose worked together in explaining techniques and best practices. Francisco acting as translator at times while I watched and tried to replicate Jose’s mastery. We made fish bowls, a leaf bowl using a leaf from the stunning mature garden surrounding our pottery poolside studio. “The tile painting workshop with Margarida was such a unique and wonderfully authentic experience. Her studio is decorated with beautiful tiles, ceramics, and pottery that she has created. I am a complete painting novice and Margarida showed me how to create the correct brush strokes for the design I wanted to create. She was so kind and patient and we had a great time chatting and painting. We spent some time practicing before working on the tiles, and in the end they came out beautifully. She also shared some local snacks with me afterward. Wonderful family run business, I picked up my tiles within 2 days. Highly recommend this experience!!”
