“Turns out we were the only couple on the tour. So our guide, Paoa, who was extremely knowledgeable, gave us his individual attention. We both greatly enjoyed the afternoon. Castle in Silves was fun to explore. Spent a fair amount of time there. The old church in front of the castle was good too. Best parts of the day were his explanation of the process of harvesting cork and of course the wine tour. Because it was a smaller winery you got to see the entire production. We ended up buying 6 bottles to take back to the condo. Just a most enjoyable tour.”

“very good tour, both outside alongside the vines and inside in the winery. Learned a lot about how the winery is striving to make wine making more 'eco-friendly' by saving as much water and power as they can during the process but yet still producing an excellent product.”

“Lovely experience, just the right amount of time for the talk and your (1.5 hours) with the option to purchase some wine after and sit and drink it for another while. It’s a long drive up to the house once you get to the gate and we were a little confused about where to go but beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts. Would highly recommend (and great wine!)”
