“Turns out we were the only couple on the tour. So our guide, Paoa, who was extremely knowledgeable, gave us his individual attention. We both greatly enjoyed the afternoon. Castle in Silves was fun to explore. Spent a fair amount of time there. The old church in front of the castle was good too. Best parts of the day were his explanation of the process of harvesting cork and of course the wine tour. Because it was a smaller winery you got to see the entire production. We ended up buying 6 bottles to take back to the condo. Just a most enjoyable tour.”

It’s a long drive up to the house once you get to the gate and we were a little confused about where to go but beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts. Would highly recommend (and great wine!)”
